Policy : minimum of 2 days per week in Brussels
Main responsibilities :
Lead the design, development and industrialisation of machine-learning solutions in Azure Databricks.
Collaborate with healthcare domain experts, data engineers, business analysts and policy stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
Develop anomaly-detection, risk-scoring and classification models using supervised and unsupervised techniques.
Define model evaluation approaches covering accuracy, explainability and operational value.
Collaborate with team members on data/ML pipelines, feature engineering and solution integration.
Use Databricks and Azure services including PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Workflows, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps and Azure Storage.
Apply security, privacy, governance and responsible-AI requirements.
Provide technical leadership, define standards and coach team members
Required skills and experience :
Minimum 10 years of experience in data science, machine learning or advanced analytics - Must have
Strong experience with Python, SQL, Azure Databricks and PySpark - Must have
Strong knowledge of ML techniques, including anomaly detection, classification, clustering, etc - Must have
Experience with MLflow, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and Databricks Workflows. - Must have
Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD and MLOps practices. - Must have
Experience with explainable AI, risk scoring and large-scale data processing - Must have
Experience working in an agile environment - Must have
Expected languages :
Dutch or French - Mothertongue of one of both, passive knowledge of the second national language
English - Professional working proficiency
