Responsibilities :
Perform Comprehensive and Effective Business Impact Analysis:
- Conduct thorough Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to identify critical business functions and the impact of disruptions.
- Assess potential risks and vulnerabilities affecting business operations.
- Document and present findings to senior management with actionable recommendations.
Establish Business Continuity and Crisis Management Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business continuity strategy that aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Formulate crisis management protocols and procedures to ensure effective response during emergencies.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to integrate business continuity plans with overall corporate strategy.
Organize and Define Realistic and Effective Business Continuity Plans:
- Create detailed and practical business continuity plans (BCP) for various business units.
- Ensure plans are regularly updated, tested, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Facilitate the development and maintenance of departmental recovery plans.
Define and Organize Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery Tests and Exercises:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute regular tests and exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of BCPs and crisis management strategies.
- Identify gaps and areas for improvement through post-exercise evaluations and debriefs.
- Ensure that lessons learned are integrated into future planning and exercises.
Ensure Compliance with ISO 27K Standards:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ISO 27K standards and ensure that all business continuity practices comply with these standards.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Utilize Risk Management Tools and Methods:
- Apply risk management tools and methods such as NISFT, ISF, Riskwatch, CRAMM, IT Grundschutz, and EBIOS to assess and mitigate risks.
- Stay current with advancements in risk management methodologies and incorporate them into the organization's practices.
Provide Training and Coaching:
- Design and deliver training programs to educate staff on business continuity, crisis management, and disaster recovery.
- Act as a coach and mentor to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members and other stakeholders in business continuity practices.
Expected skills and experience :
- Experience in a Business Continuity / Crisis Management main role - Senior (10 years or more) - Must have
- Proven experience in a business continuity role in the last 5 years - Medior (5 to 10 years) - Must have
- Proven experience in Business Continuity Plan (BCP) redaction and implementation - Must have
- Proven experience in conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA) - Must have
- Proven experience in defining (A-Z) and reviewing Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management strategy - Must have
- Certification in Business Continuity Institute/Industry (BCM/BCI) - Should have
- Certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementor - Nice to have
- Knowledge of Belgian Energy Regulation (CREG, smart metering...) - Nice to have
Languages requirements :
- French / Dutch - Fluent in one language, at least B2 in the second one
Other information : Part time negotiable (minimum 3 days/week)
